Iolite Vaporizer Review
Hey guys, today ill be reviewing the iolite (formerly i-inhale) vaporizer.
Before we start this review, i’ll start off with some background about myself: Over the past year and a half i’ve been trying quite a few different standalone vaporizers. However, i have only used two different portable vaporizers so my review will be slightly limited to that.
First, the cons:
Originally, the iolite vaporizer used a plastic mouth piece which would get slightly warm. Thankfully, the iolite company recognized this problem and is now using a metal mouth piece which can be used for extended periods of time with no noticable difference in heat.
The cost of the unit is slightly high, averaging about $240 USD as of this review, but trust me when I say after using it one time you’ll wonder why you didn’t buy one sooner.
Now, the pros:
Efficiency is reason enough to buy this vaporizer. Less than half a gram is enough to get 4 people smoked out with whatever herb you prefer. You read that right, less than .5 of a gram. Save your herb after you’ve finished smoking it in your portable vaporizer though, if you throw it in a standalone vaporizer you may be able to get a few extra hits out of it… then cook with it. 
The iolite portable vaporizer is incredibly light, portable and will fit in your hand. There’s no batteries, or charging, since the entire unit runs on butane. It also doesn’t look like your everyday typical “paraphanelia.” This is without a doubt the best portable vaporizer around, it uses herb so efficiently that whatever price you pay for it will be well worth it!
Using the Iolite Portable Vaporizer
The process for getting your iolite vaporizer up and running is simple and straight forward. Lets go step by step, all you need is a can of butane and a iolite vaporizer removed from its packaging. Fill your iolite vaporizer with butane for 5-10 seconds, then set down and let it settle for 5 minutes or so.
Now… set the power switch dial to 1 and press the pizo ignitor to get the patented flameless heater and thermostat running. Here’s the time where you will want to notice the colored temperature control light on the back of the iolite… when the light goes off, you’ve hit the right vape temperature. This should only take 60 to 90 seconds.
Grab your herbal blend and start grinding it very fine, this will allow you to vape nearly all of your herbal blend with no waste. Unscrew the herb chamber from the Iolite vaporizer, and fill with your finely ground herbal mixture.
Now carefully screw the herb chamber back onto the portable vaporizer and start taking deep steady breaths, you’re now vaping.
